History School Trips and Residential Trip Programmes

School History Trips at Ufton

On Ufton History school trips, the past is brought to life by our experiential learning and education team, allowing the children to become fully immersed in history.

Whether exploring the Grade 1 Tudor Manor House, flogging Boudicca in the Celtic Roundhouse or curing a cursed field as a Saxon, all our activities use the unique resources at our disposal to inspire and engage your group.

Our 40 acre site in Berkshire includes ancient woodland, a Viking long ship, Celtic settlement, medieval ponds and Tudor Manor House complete with secret priest holes.

We have a wide range of curriculum linked programmes for your class at both KS1 and KS2 and each historical programme follows its own story line – perhaps your children will become part of the Saxon Reading as settlers or a Tudor Petty Constable investigating strange goings on at the allegedly Catholic Manor.
